User Content Policy

Section 1 - Core Values

Comments and any other user content posted on VoxVolo must, above all, reflect our Core Values; civil and respectful dialogue at all times; content must be directly attributable to a specific, real person who is clearly and unambiguously identified along with the content they have posted and; that person is fully accountable and solely responsible for their content.

Section 2 - Rule-of-Thumb

Generally speaking, anything you would say in a face-to-face conversation, would be permissible. Conversely, if you wouldn’t say it in person or in the presence of others, then it likely is not suitable for posting on VoxVolo.

Section 3 - Neutral and Non-Partisan

VoxVolo is a neutral, strictly non-partisan platform that does not take a position on issues which are discussed on the site. Users will, of course, have a wide range of opinions and all are equally welcome so long as they are presented in a manner which respects the Core Values.

Although comments are reviewed prior to publication, this is solely to ensure that they meet the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and this policy. Simply taking an unpopular or contrary position on an issue shall generally not constitute grounds for withholding a comment from publication.

Section 4 - Identification of Users

VoxVolo currently uses the Facebook Comment Plugin to host user content. It is the users' responsibility to be familiar with the relevant terms and conditions for using this facility. Users of the Facebook Comment Plugin are subject to the Facebook Real Names policy.

Section 5 - Remedies

VoxVolo reserves the sole right to withhold publication of comments which we deem to have violated the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy or the User Content Policy. We also reserve the right to disable and/or remove the page to which the comment is related and to do so without notice.

Users who, at VoxVolo's sole discretion, have demonstrated a pattern of use inconsistent with the Core Values or other aspects of this policy, may be have their access to VoxVolo suspended.

Section 6 - Acceptable Languages

User Content shall be posted in any official language of the country (or countries) which is (are) the subject(s) of the matter to which the User Content is related.

Example #1: If a user is commenting on a page related to the Energy East Pipeline in Canada, User Content can be provided in either one of Canada's two official languages: English or French.

Example #2: Comments on the North American Free Trade Agreement, which signatories are Canada, the United States and Mexico, comments could be provided in French, English and Spanish, the set of official languages of the signatories.

VoxVolo is not responsible for providing translation facilities for users' native language to an official language.

Section 7 - Acceptance of User Content Policy

By posting user content on any VoxVolo page, you are deemed to have accepted the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and agree to be bound by the terms of this document. If you cannot accept these terms, you are not permitted to continue to use the VoxVolo website.

Section 8 - Changes to the User Content Policy

We may amend this User Content Policy from time-to-time. A user is bound by any changes to the User Content Policy when he or she uses the Services after such changes have been first posted.
